1. This artwork is 109.2 x 86.4cm

2. There is a mixture of bright and dull colours in this artwork. Greens and reds are common, with red being the most prominent colour. This may be because it is placed at the focal point of the artwork and it is a very powerful colour. Line is used in this artwork in that the ending points of the different images are very clear and defined. Line is also very prominent from the top left to the bottom right. Contrast is shown in the differing colours of red and green in the image.

3. The emotional impact of this artwork comes from the contrasting emotions of the different images, seen in the contrast between the moon landing and the Vietnam war. The Vietnam war was extremely unpopular in America as many people did not understand the motive of fighting, while the moon landing is something that Americans are very proud of.

4. The issues that are covered in this artwork is the Vietnam war, which was extremely unpopular in America. Other issues that are covered in this artwork are the images of MLKJ preaching love and not violence, while the images of John and Robert Kennedy and MLKJ remind us of their assassinations.

5. These issues were important at this time as the war and assassinations were very current at the time.

6. Yes, I believe these issues are still very important today as the Vietnam war is still a very touchy subject among Americans. People will always remember the assassinations of these three great people.

7. Rauschenberg has challenged the use of photography in art through combining many different images to make a compilation. These images included in this image are all somewhat related. He has also challenged the use of photography in art as he has not taken any of these images, but simply taken them from other sources and compiled them into one artwork.
